I'm a 22 year old drummer located in Berkshire and have been playing drums and percussion for the past fourteen years. I graduated in 2016 with a Degree in Music Performance (BMus) from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, having been taught by the likes of Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, Jack Bruce, Brother Strut) and Pete Riley (Republica, Guthrie Govan and Phil Hilbourne). I teach kit with the Rock Project in Berkshire, one on one lessons, freelance and studio work. I'm specialise in Rock, Grunge, Punk and Metal, Hip-hop, Soul, Blues and Folk.
I am the drummer for two bands - Black Emerald, with whom I have been playing since 2012. Our debut album Hell Can't Handle All of Us was released in February of this year to really positive reviews. I was approached in March 2016 to drum and sing backing vox for InAir, an AltRock band from Reading. We released our first 3-track single "Meant To Be" in 2016 and a follow-up EP, "In a Different Light" in October 2017, which received great reviews from Kerrang and a host of magazines and blogs.
Both bands have been touring in the last year and further tours, festivals and gigs around the country are planned during 2018.
I also play keys, hand and tuned percussion to a high standard, and dabble in guitar and bass as well. My music theory knowledge is excellent, and I can sight read to a high standard. I am a member of the Musician's Union and have appropriate Liability Insurance and DBS in place. I have my own equipment, transport (car and 7-seater crew van) and a friendly, professional attitude.
